|A Family Album|
Fremington Quay was an industrialised island within a rural parish. Many men worked in the railway and the cranes, but only a handful of people lived there. Apart from the stationmasters house there was a small row of cottages, home to several Fremington families. The family photographs shown here were generously contributed by Mrs Vera Norman, Mrs Wanda Ruse, Mrs Parsley and others
This presentation brings together images of Fremingtonians past and present. Many thanks to the many people who have contributed to this presentation
