An Evening with George Monck

Clocks were turned back to 1669 at Merton for this Monck 400 event held on Friday 27 March 2009 when the parish welcomed his Highness the Duke of Albemarle and his wife Nan (Peter and Jen Hood of pastpresent.org.uk) back to his roots. The evening was perfectly set in the candlelit Church of All Saints, or St Martin's, as George Monck would have known it
